Heaven Estrada is a Research Strategist with Evolve Equity Psychology, Inc. where she combines her work as a devoted public health advocate with Indigenous worldviews. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and a minor in Women’s Health Issues as well as a Masters of Public Health in Community Health Education.
Heaven's experience is in community evaluation including data collection and analysis working from a community-led and an Indigenous perspective. She works with both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. Previously, Heaven worked to provide the community with programs that focused on suicide and substance-use prevention through a cultural and traditional lens. She also developed and facilitated presentations to the community and clinical staff regarding the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit (MMIWG2S) relatives crisis, domestic violence, and human trafficking. Heaven goal is to work towards achieving health equity through undoing the various biases and systems that create disparities.
